EXECUTIVE TEAM
Our executive team includes some of the most sought after talent in the industry with a track record of innovation in the media and entertainment industry.
A serial entrepreneur who has led the development, launch, and branding of "first of its kind" music performance products. He helmed the R&D, patenting, licensing, marketing, and manufacture of the first digital DJ software package and launched the karaoke industry’s premier streaming platform, PCDJ was sold to D1 Media in 2006. In 2007 Mr. Vangieri founded Victory Media Works, a consultancy firm specializing in implementing turnaround marketing strategies for companies in the music industry. Victory Media Works then led Mr. Vangieri to becoming CEO of DigiTrax Entertainment, LLC, to exploit the company’s catalog assets (10,000 music masters). Mr. Vangieri digitized the entire catalog in order to market and sell the content utilizing modern technology, and expanded the company’s reach by entering the professional karaoke market with an API that multiple, third-party professional hosting software developers used to directly integrate the catalog with their products via a subscription model. Since 2017 Mr. Vangieri is pioneering DigiTrax AI Artificial Intelligence technology, set to disrupt the $15B music creation market. He is an expert in Lean Startup methodology and is a graduate of William Paterson University with a BA in Math & Natural Science and a BA Communications Radio & TV.
Mr. Matusiak is an expert in the field of music theory with a strong emphasis on mathematics and programming. Mr. Matusiak’s application of advanced artificial intelligence algorithms for the analysis, transformation and creation of music forms the basis of The Company’s approach to music composition and has generated seven granted patents. As the software architect of DigiTrax’s Music Builder platform, his implementation is grounded in both theoretical and practical knowledge of music theory. Mr. Matusiak has garnered multiple awards while completing his studies at Leeds College of Music in the UK. As Co-founder and Lead Developer for Exomens, Ltd., Mr. Matusiak researched, designed, and implemented multiple large-scale artificial intelligence projects, including systems for music, audio, and natural- language analysis.
Dr. Wolfe has a background in statistical mechanics, probability theory, functional and imperative programming, molecular dynamics, machine learning, music theory, and algorithmic music composition. Dr. Wolfe has been developing software algorithms for over 30 years and has successfully licensed his work in both the physical sciences and music industry. Dr. Wolfe’s cross-disciplinary background has enabled him to create new state-of-the-art systems in algorithmic music composition. As an example, as founder of algorhythms.ai, he developed a rule-based system for automatically generating musical compositions based on a combination of music theory and statistical mechanics. As CSO of DigiTrax, Dr. Wolfe is creating next-generation algorithms that are disruptively redefining the future of generative music. Dr. Wolfe has a B.S. in chemistry from UCLA, a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the University of Washington, and a postdoctoral fellowship in molecular dynamics from UCSF.
As Chief Visionary Officer, Charles innovates next-generation platforms and experiences at the cutting-edge of new media and emerging technologies. Over the past two decades, Charles has established himself as one of the most in-demand creative technologists working at the intersection of AI, blockchain, and xR. Recognized as one of the world’s top designers across multiple disciplines, Charles has spent two decades leading teams of entrepreneurs, developers, directors, designers, copywriters, marketers, and engineers, to innovating breakthrough products, services, and communications.
Stan Marcom leads the DTE team in ensuring the smooth day-to-day financial health of the enterprise, overseeing the company’s medium and long-term financial strategies, as well as tax and regulatory compliance. Mr. Marcom brings over 25 years of corporate financial responsibility experience to the enterprise, with 21 of them specific to the music industry. Mr. Marcom is an MBA graduate of the University of Tennessee.
An entertainment attorney for over 35 years, Mr. Jacobi’s client list includes Grammy Award winners and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members. His firm, The Law Offices of Allen Jacobi, specializes in trademark, publishing, copyright and licensing law. Mr. Jacobi’s services include contract negotiation, digital rights acquisition and artist, producer and songwriter representation.
John has been involved in the music industry for over 25 years. From 1996-2002, Mr. Arnone operated an entertainment distribution corporation with 120 employees that under Mr. Arnone’s guidance was voted medium wholesaler of the year in the music industry (1997, 1998 and 2000) by the National Association of Recording Merchants. In 2002 – present, he founded and operated Maestro Entertainment Corp., a music catalog/entertainment holding company with a 10,000+ song music catalog. During the 80’s-90’s, Mr. Arnone was a principal of two FINRA Broker/Dealers, and held positions on the New York Stock Exchange. Mr. Arnone is currently the Chairman of American CryoStem Corporation, a strategic developer, marketer and global licensor of patented adipose tissue-based cellular technologies for the Regenerative and Personalized Medicine industries. He holds a degree in Business Administration and a B.A. in Economics.
Cathy is an expert in production and PR and has worked with MTV, Nickelodeon, Polygram Records, and The PR Group. She founded Children‘s Media Studio and produced the animated edutainment TV series, Sing And Spell. During her role at DigiTrax, she’s supervised the production and distribution of thousands of audio and video productions and continues to ensure quality content is released regularly.
William has been involved in music and production from a young age. Growing up in the Ansonia Hotel, Manhattan, NYC, he was exposed to music, Broadway and many forms of audio and creative production. His father, Taylor Johnson was Head of Sound for acts like Whitney Houston, Vanessa Williams and Bob Marley to The Doobie Brothers, John Lenon and many more! William became a live engineer himself 2010’s with rock bands,10 Years, Palisades, Silent Rival and running a venue for over 5 years. Recently William has shined as a music producer / songwriter and creative consultant who has worked with The New York Times, Blanco Brown, Atmosphere, Claire Ernst and many more. Now he is developing music and products with Digitrax with some of the greatest minds in the business.
LEADERSHIP
Gordon Williams, also known as "Commissioner Gordon," serves as a distinguished member of the DigiTrax Advisory Board and is an Affiliated Producer. With a remarkable career as an American record producer, audio engineer, and mixer, he has earned multiple Grammy Awards and contributed to numerous Gold and Platinum albums. His diverse portfolio includes collaborations with iconic names such as KRS-ONE, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, Teddy Riley, Babyface, Stacy Lattisaw, Diana Ross, New Edition, Nile Rodgers, and Quincy Jones. Notably, Commissioner Gordon played a pivotal role in the success of Lauryn Hill‘s "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill," intertwining vocals, music, and effects to shape one of the top-selling albums of 1998–1999. Additionally, he produced Carlos Santana’s Grammy-winning and Album of the Year recipient, "Supernatural," along with other notable works, including projects with Joss Stone, Damian Marley, and Amy Winehouse.
Gregg "Grouchy" Watkins, an integral part of the DigiTrax Advisory Board and A&R in the Baltimore office, is renowned as the President and founder of AllHipHop.com. Launched in 1998, AllHipHop.com, under Watkins’ leadership, evolved into a significant platform, earning the Rising Stars Award from Black Enterprise magazine and being dubbed "the CNN of hip-hop" by Essence magazine. Watkins, also the CEO of Oblique Recordings, achieved success by promoting artists through the website, securing deals with retailers like eMusic, and providing a groundbreaking platform for the hip-hop community.
Michel Zgarka, holding positions on the DigiTrax Advisory Board and as A&R in the Paris office, boasts over 35 years of successful experience in productions, communications, marketing, financial engineering, and business development. As the President and CEO of Hit Lab, he has been a key player in various international entertainment events, including serving as the Delegate General of the Montreal Israeli Film Festival for its 13th-year anniversary in 2018. Mr. Zgarka, with educational achievements from McGill University, Concordia University, and the University of Nice, brings a wealth of expertise to the DigiTrax team.
